Více než 300 slunečních dní a příjemné podnebí, dělá Severní Kypr ideální turistickou destinací během celého roku. V srpnu, nejteplejším měsíci roku se zde teplota pohybuje mezi 21 až 36 stupni celsia a v nejchladnějších měsících je zde teplota okolo 10 až 20 stupni celsia. Koupání je zde možno provozovat během celého roku, ačkoli jen ti nejotužilejší okusí středomořských vod i v prosinci, lednu či únoru kdy teplota moře dosahuje pouhých 15 stupňů. Avšak po zbytek roku se teplota vody pohybuje mezi 20 – 27 stupni celsia.
